Is Franchising Right For Me?
Most people that ultimately become franchisees have two fundamental aims in common:
1) To be their own boss, and thereby create wealth for themselves
2) Gain a greater control over their own working environment
In business it is a well established fact that over 80% of business start-ups fail. Clearly the risk of self-ownership is high; the cost of failure can be huge, not only financially but it can also be emotionally debilitating. People owe it to themselves to find the best chance possible for success, which is why many consider franchising.
The 2005 NatWest Bank Survey of Franchisees, in conjunction with the British Franchise Association,
reported that over 93% Franchisees were trading profitably. Compare that with the statistics above and
one can see that Franchising is a relatively secure vehicle to help you obtain independence.
One of the main reasons why the success rate is so high in franchising is that the Franchisor has already proven the systems and made the mistakes and learned from them so you do not have to!!
